Maneuver and emergency stop
During the practical test you will be asked to perform certain tasks, which are commonly known as the manoeuvre to show that you can move the car in various situations.
There are 4 maneuver of which you will be asked to perform 1 at the examiners discretion, on top of this you may be asked to do a controlled stop exercise (emergency stop).
There are certain rules to follow, which include adequate all round observation.
Turn in the road (3 point turn)
This involves turning the car around to face the opposite direction on the road using least amount of turns possible, using forward and reverse gears. You must not touch or overhang the kerb at any point during the manoeuvre.
